Welcome to NetOpsNow

NetOpsNow is a real-time network diagnostics dashboard. It lets you run 18 network tools — ping, traceroute, DNS lookups, BGP analysis, SSL checks, speed tests and more — from your browser, through agents you place anywhere in the world, and watch the results stream in live.

NetOpsNow is free for everyone. There are no locked features, trials, or paid tiers. If it saves you time, you can support the project.

Try it instantly — the sandbox​

The fastest way to see NetOpsNow in action is the public sandbox:

No sign-up needed — it logs you in automatically with a shared demo account. The sandbox is shared with other visitors and resets every day at 00:00 UTC (a countdown banner at the top of the page shows the time until the next reset). Anything you set up there — agents, keys — is wiped at reset, so treat it as a playground.

Create your own account​

For your own private workspace:

  1. Go to app.netopsnow.com.
  2. Sign up with Google, or with your email and a password.
  3. Verify your email address (check your inbox for the verification link).
  4. Log in — you land in the dashboard with the tool list in the left sidebar.

Add your first agent​

Tools run through agents — small programs you run on the machines whose network vantage point you care about (an office PC, a cloud VM, a home lab, a Raspberry Pi).

  1. In the dashboard, click Download agent in the top bar and pick your platform (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
  2. Unzip and run the agent on the target machine.
  3. When prompted, enter your organization key and an agent key (see the admin guide for generating keys).
  4. Within a few seconds the agent appears in your agent list, and every tool can now run through it.

You can connect multiple agents and run any tool through all of them at once — that's the core idea: see your network from every vantage point simultaneously.
