Is NetOpsNow really free?

Yes — every tool and every feature, with no trials or locked tiers. The service is funded by community backers and sponsors.

My agent shows as disconnected

  1. Check the agent process is still running on its machine, and that the machine has internet access.
  2. Log out of the dashboard and log back in — an expired session can make agents appear offline even when they're fine.
  3. If the agent's key was revoked by an admin, it can't reconnect — generate a new key and restart the agent with it.

The agent won't register — "invalid or revoked agent token"

The key you entered has been revoked or mistyped. Ask your organization admin for a fresh key (or generate one yourself if you have the Super user or Admin role) and restart the agent.

"Max agents limit reached"

Each organization has a cap on simultaneously connected agents. Disconnect an agent you no longer need (or ask your admin to), then register the new one.

A tool run hangs or never finishes

  • Click Stop to abort the run, then try again.
  • If it's a P2P speed test, the destination agent may be behind a firewall that blocks incoming connections — check that the two agents can actually reach each other.
  • If every tool hangs on one specific agent, restart that agent.

I ran a tool but got no result rows

Check which agent is selected in the tool's settings (gear icon). If the selected agent went offline, pick another one.

Why did everything in the sandbox disappear?

The sandbox resets every day at 00:00 UTC — all agents and keys there are wiped. The banner at the top of the sandbox shows a live countdown to the next reset. For anything persistent, create your own account.

I didn't get my verification email

Check your spam folder first. You can trigger the email again from the login screen. Until the address is verified, you can't enter the dashboard.

My account is disabled

You'll see "This account has been disabled. Contact your administrator." — your organization's admin disabled the login and can re-enable it.

How do I report a bug or ask for help?

Use the Contact page inside the app — it goes straight to the team. Sponsors get priority responses.
